Rooibos means "red bush" in Afrikaans, one of the official languages of South Africa. The rooibos bushes are rosemary-type shrubs indigenous to a small area of the arid Western Cape. A cup of Rooibos has an aroma that speaks to the African plains, reminiscent of a safari with awe-inspiring animals that majestically roam our earth.
